About Me
I'm Jahmal Richard, the visionary curator and passionate photographer behind Anguilla Plus Art Gallery. Growing up in the picturesque paradise of Anguilla, I've always had a deep connection to my homeland, especially through the lens of my camera. My love for photography, particularly drone photography, has allowed me to capture the island's breathtaking landscapes from unique aerial perspectives, revealing its hidden gems and stunning vistas in ways that ground-level views simply can't match.
After spending about ten years in the US as a software engineer, the snowy winters triggered a profound longing for the warm, sandy beaches of Anguilla. This yearning inspired me to create the gallery. I wanted to feel like I was on the beach even when the world outside my window was blanketed in snow. Art became my way of creating a portal into paradise.
